Monthly Accounting
Monthly accounting with a real close, not just categorized transactions.
Ashmore Books keeps the books of U.S. businesses current every month: reconciliations, Balance Sheet review, P&L review, payroll reconciliation, and financial reporting you can actually use for decisions and tax.
What is included
Every month, the same disciplined close.
Transaction coding and bank feeds
All bank, credit-card, and payment-processor activity categorized with consistent logic, with open questions raised early rather than guessed.
Reconciliations
Bank, credit card, loan, merchant, and payroll clearing accounts reconciled to statements every month.
Balance Sheet review
Loans, payroll liabilities, sales tax, A/R, A/P, equity, and clearing accounts reviewed so the Balance Sheet holds together, not only the P&L.
Financial reporting
Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and where useful cash-flow and management reports, with notes on anything that needs your attention.
Timing
Target: monthly financials by the 20th of the following month.
That target assumes required access, statements, and client responses are received timely. If something is missing, you hear about it early rather than at the deadline.
- Reply within one business day
- Questions asked early, not batched at month-end
- Balance Sheet and accounting logic reviewed every month
- U.S. hours available where the engagement requires it
- Material changes documented for your CPA
Who this is for
Built for businesses that need more than data entry.
Monthly accounting from Ashmore is designed for owners and growing companies that want month-end close, Balance Sheet control, management financials, multi-account or multi-entity accounting, payroll reconciliation, and tax coordination handled by one team.
Software
QuickBooks Online is our primary platform. We also work in Xero and other U.S. accounting platforms.
Pricing
Custom monthly fixed fee based on transaction volume, number of accounts, complexity, and reporting requirements. You approve the scope and pricing before work begins.
Connected to tax
Because the same team prepares the return, year-end does not restart from scratch with a separate provider.
Behind on the books?
Cleanup first, then monthly.
If the current file is not reliable, monthly accounting usually starts with a QuickBooks cleanup or catch-up project. The free Books X-Ray tells you which one you need before anything is quoted.
Ready for a monthly close you can rely on?
Tell us about the business, the accounting software, and the number of accounts. We will come back with a scope and a fixed monthly fee.
